Google
MySpace and Facebook have both signed deals with Google to allow publicly available status updates to be indexed in real-time by the search giant.
Up till now Google had only signed a similar deal with Twitter and was missing agreements with Facebook and MySpace.
These partnerships have now been formalised and are understood to be going live on Google across all English language domains (both .com and .co.uk) “over the coming days” according to a Google spokesperson.
This means that when somebody searches for a particular topic on Google they will receive real-time updates from a variety of social media sites, as well as the usual list of search results.

Facebook founder and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg has made a bold move of sending a message to a massive 350 million users of the website about the modifications that have been made to the privacy policies of the world’s most popular social networking website.
Zuckerberg, who recently entered into the list of the world’s youngest billionaires after Microsoft snapped up 1.6 percent stake in the website, has put out an open letter revealing a series of changes to be made in the website in the near future.

iPhone Facebook App
It would have been nice for the App Store’s public relations team if the biggest news in the past few days was the introduction of a more transparent progress report for applications under review, giving developers some of the feedback they need to see where their apps are in the pathway towards approval and release. Unfortunately, that minor but tangible step toward a more open approval process is overshadowed by a story of frustration and disaffection from one of the platform’s rising stars: Joe Hewitt, the man behind Facebook’s popular iPhone app, is mad as hell and he’s not going to take it anymore.
