Today, the Internet is definitely the largest global source of information that is still in a constant growing process. There’s always new content needed to feed this growth, and the rates at which new content is created are always on the rise.
The purpose of this content could be quite diverse, from advertising certain products, to sharing opinions and informing other people on different subjects and aspects of life. But regardless of this purpose, the main intent driving the creation of new content is attracting visitors to specific webpages that are hosting this very content.

Many business owners and internet marketing professionals are looking for the fastest way to increase page rank. In may respects this is the quest for the holy grail of internet marketing. For those who may not know, page rank is a number assigned by Google according to their secret algorithm that is believed to be highly relevant to how high a page is placed in the search results. I am here to tell you that the page rank number you can see is certainly not everything when it comes to the ranking in search results.
In order to see the page rank of a particular web page you must either use a web browser that can display page rank data or go to a site where you can enter the url of a page and get it’s page rank. The problem is that the number you see is always out of date and reflects the last time the public display of the page rank algorithm was updated. There can be a lag of many months since the last update. So in truth the page rank as used by Google is not accurately reflected in the numbers you can see in many cases.

1. Leave comments on blogs in your related niche. This is a great way to increase links back to your site. Here is a great free tool to monitor popular blogs in your niche so you can be notified and make one of the first good quality comments. Check it out at Commentsniper.com
2. Go to Socialposter.com and fill in the exact url to your blog post then title,general summary text then your tags. Now submit to as many social sites as you can. If this is your first time to use these sites then you will need to signup.
3. Signup at technorati.com and add your blog then ping it when you update.
